Hi, I’m Lindsey Barrett (formerly Lindsey Macomber) — and I believe in home.

My real estate story began in January 2020

I moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the beauty of the lake and the strong sense of community here. Over time, it became home in every sense of the word — and that love for the area is what ultimately led me to obtain my real estate license in January 2020.

What started as a career quickly became something I truly love: helping people make confident moves at the Lake — whether that’s a first home, a full-time relocation, a nightly rental investment, or a lakefront property you’ve dreamed about for years.

A client-focused approach, shaped by hospitality

Before real estate, I built my career in hospitality management — and that background shaped the way I show up for my clients today.

Hospitality taught me how to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, problem-solve quickly, and treat every experience with care and attention. Those same values translate beautifully into real estate.

Buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, and there are a lot of moving parts — but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I guide you through every step, from pricing and marketing to negotiations and closing, so you can focus on what matters most.

With five years of experience in the Lake of the Ozarks market, I’ve helped clients navigate everything from lakefront homes and condos to investment properties and full-time residences.

I also love sharing what I’ve learned personally through real estate. I bought my first home when I was 20 years old, and today that same property is my first investment property — which means I’m not only a Realtor, but also a landlord. I’ve experienced firsthand how homeownership can build stability, equity, and long-term opportunity, and I love helping others take that step too.

A personal update: Lindsey Barrett

In fall of 2025, I married the love of my life and my best friend — and my legal name is now Lindsey Barrett. You may see that reflected in my branding, email, and online presence as everything transitions.

And along with that new chapter, I’m officially a stepmom — which still feels a little surreal and a lot sweet. We love where we live on the lake in Linn Creek, and I’m so grateful for the season of life we’re in.

Life at the Lake (when I’m not working)

When I’m not showing homes or working behind the scenes for my clients, you’ll usually find us taking full advantage of Lake life — especially in the summer. Whether it’s out on the WaveRunner, surfing, boating, hiking or exploring local spots, we truly love living here.

We also take advantage of the off-season and love to travel — it’s one of my favorite parts of this career, being able to work hard while also creating memories in new places.
